Uses
These oils can be used in so many ways to build up your low tox cleaning kit with just a few other ingredients from your local supermarket. Here are just a few.
- Add Lemon oil to a spray bottle of water to clean tables, countertops, and other surfaces.
- Lemon oil & Wild Orange also makes a great furniture polish as ; simply add a few drops to olive oil to clean, protect, and shine wood finishes.
- Use a cloth soaked in Lemon oil to preserve and protect your leather furniture and other leather surfaces or garments.
- Clove is an excellent oil to use in bathroom sprays especially to tackle mould. Its also a favourite in toilet fizzies along with Tea Tree / Eucalyptus clean loos.
- A few drops of peppermint in a bucket of warm water is great to mop bathroom and toilet floors – plus ants hate it.
- Lemongrass is a great combo in cleaning fizzies.
