Terms and Conditions event
Community Fundraising (the Campaign) is a self-directed fundraising event or activity organised by a supporter (Hearts Minds & Flowers & Veronica Arnold) to raise or collect funds (Fundraiser) for Share the Dignity Limited ACN 607 970 605 (Share the Dignity). Registered participants of our Campaign (Hosts – Hearts Minds & Flowers & Veronica Arnold) nominate their own type of Fundraiser, such as high tea’s, luncheons, raffles, charity days etc, (Activity) and then coordinate and execute that Activity in their own time and with their own equipment and facilities either within their business, community, workplace or school.
You (Participant) participate in the Fundraiser at your own risk.
Ticking “I have read and understand the contents of the Acknowledgement, Waiver & Release” on your registration form, signifies you have read this document, understand its contents and agree to be legally bound by it.
Participant requirements
- The Participant acknowledges and agrees:
- Share The Dignity and the Host, are not obligated to refund Event tickets once purchased. If the Host cancels an event, you have the right to request a refund from the Host, Hearts Minds & Flowers, by emailing veronicalarnold@gmail.com. You can also request to donate the cost of the ticket to Share The Dignity.
- that they will not undertake activities which puts themselves at risk or in danger.
Liability, release and indemnity
- The Participant:
- RELEASES AND DISCHARGES Share the Dignity, its directors, staff, contractors and volunteers including the Host, and all State, Federal and Local Government authorities with responsibility for the locality in which the Activity may be staged and their respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, agents and volunteers (the Indemnified Parties) from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft and all other loss or injury whatever and however occurring which the Participant may suffer as a result of or in connection with, directly or indirectly, their participation in the Fundraiser;
- WAIVES all and any claims against the Indemnified Parties which, but for this Acknowledgement Waiver and Release, they may have had against the Indemnified Parties or any of them; and
- INDEMNIFIES AND HOLDS HARMLESS the Indemnified Parties from any and all liabilities, claims or actions (including negligence, breach of contract, and/or breach of statute) whatever or however caused which may be brought against them or any of them arising as a result of or in connection with, directly or indirectly, the participation in the Fundraiser, including any claim by the Participant.
